| Bradley Hires Cross as New Athletic Director |
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Bradley University has named a new athletics director.
Michael Cross, who is a graduate of the University of Buffalo where he played basketball, will assume the position on January 1.
Cross served as a basketball graduate assistant coach after graduating from Buffalo. He went on to the athletics compliance department at the University of Michigan.
Cross most recently served as executive associate director of athletics at Princeton.
Virnette House-Browning has served as Bradley's interim athletics director the past six months. She will return to her duties as the university's senior women's administrator.
