MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- A Minnesota Vikings official says the organization is concerned about the safety of the Metrodome but that he doesn't see a scenario under which the team wouldn't play there next season.
Vikings Vice President Lester Bagley says the team's concerns about the stadium need to be addressed in the near future after the Metrodome's rook buckled under heavy snow last weekend. The team has been pushing for a new stadium for over a decade, and its lease to play at the Metrodome expires after next season.
