| Rose Leads Bulls Past Slumping Cavaliers |
CLEVELAND (AP) -- Derrick Rose scored 29 points, including a three-point play that put Chicago ahead for good with 19.6 seconds to play, and the Bulls beat Cleveland 88-83 on Wednesday night to hand the Cavaliers their sixth straight loss.
The losing streak matches Cleveland's longest since it dropped six in a row from Nov. 28 to Dec. 8, 2007.
Cleveland coach Byron Scott shuffled his lineup in an effort to stop the skid, but the Cavaliers fell short. Antawn Jamison, one of the players moved into a starting role, scored 21 to lead Cleveland Luol Deng and Joakim Noah had 13 points apiece for Chicago, which has won three straight.
