| Bears' D Not Pointing Fingers at Offense |
LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- The Chicago Bears' defense is refusing to point a finger at the team's struggling offense. A Bears' offense that scored four touchdowns in four weeks had five turnovers last week against Seattle, but Bears defenders say they could have turned the game around if they had taken the ball away from the Seahawks. And creating turnovers will be even more important against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Christmas Day. Linebacker Brian Urlacher doesn't believe the defense is fading at season's end, and can do more to make plays. The Bears also are dealing with injuries. Safety Chris Conte is out for the season and facing Rodgers without a starting safety won't be easy. (Copyright 2011 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
