| GHS Takes Taylorville Tournament |
The Galesbug Silver Streaks boys won the first ever Taylorville Holiday Tournament after a thrilling overtime victory over Rantoul Thursday 50-47. The Streaks defeated Mattoon earlier in the day 57-50. The Streaks were in a three-way tie with Rantoul, but the tiebreaker was decided on points allowed.
The GHS Girls will try to win the Charleston Holiday Tournament Friday night by taking on Charleston. Hear the pregame at 6:40pm, tip-off at 7pm, on AM 1400 WGIL.
