Done Deal: Buehrle Signs $58 Million, 4-year Deal
MIAMI (AP) -- Left-hander Mark Buehrle has signed his $58 million, four-year contract with the Miami Marlins after passing a physical.

Buehrle agreed to the deal Wednesday and was to be formally introduced at a news conference Friday at the Marlins' new ballpark.

Buehrle has won at least 10 games and pitched at least 200 innings each of the past 11 seasons, all for the Chicago White Sox. He'll be reunited in Miami with manager Ozzie Guillen, who joined the Marlins last month.

A four-time All-Star, Buehrle went 13-9 with a 3.59 ERA this year and won his third consecutive Gold Glove.

In the past week, the historically thrifty Marlins have spent $191 million on three All-Star free agents. They also acquired shortstop Jose Reyes and closer Heath Bell.
