Western Illinois Dumps Eastern Illinois 64-48
MACOMB, Ill. (AP) -- Terell Parks scored 19 points and Ceola Clark had 18, all on 3-pointers in the second half, to help Western Illinois storm past Eastern Illinois 64-48 on Saturday night.

Obi Emegano added 14 points for the Leathernecks (4-3), and Parks grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.

Jeremy Granger scored 18 points to lead the Panthers (6-3), whose three-game winning streak ended.

Granger's layup with 6 seconds left gave Eastern Illinois a 25-23 halftime lead.

But Western Illinois scored the first 10 points of the second half and never lost the lead. The Leathernecks stretched the gap to as high as 21 points.

Western Illinois committed only five turnovers and converted 15 Eastern Illinois turnovers into 17 points.

The Leathernecks shot 46 percent (23 of 50) to only 38 percent (16 of 42) for the Panthers.
