HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL
Another close loss for the Galesburg Silver Streaks Boys Basketball team, losing on the road at Quincy Friday night 54-51. Possessions were the downfall for the Streaks. The Streaks are now an even 4-4 on the season, and 1-1 in the Western Big 6 Conference. The Streaks have a rare Saturday off.
The GHS Girls, meanwhile are on the road in the Chicago area Saturday, taking on Maine South. You can hear the broadcast beginning at 2:10pm Saturday on WGIL and WGIL.com. Also Saturday, you can hear the Fighting Illini Boys Basketball team take on Gonzaga. Pregame at 8:30pm, tipoff at 9, on WGIL.
