Child Endangerment Charge For Alleged Drunk Driver
A Galesburg man is in trouble with the law after he was allegedly driving drunk with a child in the car.

Galesburg Police reports indicate officers pulled over 22-year old Larry Black, Junior's car in the parking lot of the Henderson Street McDonald's while patrolling the area around 2am Wednesday.

Officers say they noticed Black had watery and blood-shot eyes, so they asked if he needed help, to which Black responded, "I just woke up."

Police say Black had a blood-alcohol level of point-one-two-six, so he was arrested for driving under the Influence of Alcohol. Black's one-year-old son was believed to be in the car at the time, leading to a second charge of child endangerment.

Black posted bond and was released with a February 27th court date.

The child was taken home by other family members.
