Chicago Man Accused of Killing Woman, Her Daughter
CHICAGO (AP)--A 25 year old Chicago man has been arrested on charges he killed a mother and her daughter then set the building they were in on fire.

Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said Saturday Thadeus Ridley is charged with two counts each of first-degree murder and aggravated arson.

McCarthy says police responded to a disturbance call at Ridley's apartment on Friday. He says Ridley gave officers "specific information" about the death of 43 year old Cherie Adams and her 24 year old daughter, Curtria Duncan.

The women's bodies were discovered in the bathroom of a burning first-floor apartment on Chicago's South Side on Wednesday.

Police say they had been stabbed to death. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
