Man Charged with Making Video in Hospital Bathroom
WHEATON, Ill. (AP)--A suburban Chicago man is being accused of using his cellphone video camera to record women in a bathroom at Elmhurst Hospital.

49 year old Salvador Perez, of Franklin Park, has been charged with unlawful videotaping.

A judge set his bond at $150,000 on Saturday.

The DuPage County State's Attorney's Office says Perez placed his cell phone under a sink in the bathroom on Friday and positioned it so it would capture video of the toilet area.

Prosecutors say he activated the record function and left the bathroom. They say a woman using the bathroom later saw the phone drop from under the sink and alerted authorities.

If he posts bond, Perez will be required to wear a GPS monitoring device.

It was not immediately clear if he had a lawyer.
