A Galesburg Alderman is Recusing Himself From A Vote
Galesburg Alderman Jeremy Karlin is recusing himself from the vote on a hotel development on the North side of town.

Karlin says that his law partner represents many of the individuals affected by the decision.

"I believe that the best course of action is to recuse myself further official deliberation and the eventual vote on the rezoning as well as the other issues that come down the path should the rezoning pass."

Karlin says he will still be able to listen to his constituents concerning the issue.
