Truck Crash Injures Two
Illinois State Police received a call just after 3pm Thursday to a reported accident North of Galesburg.

A truck tractor was traveling Eastbound near mile-marker 42 when the vehicle crossed over the right shoulder and struck the guardrail.

The truck continued its path until striking the 2200 North Overpass four miles north of Galesburg.

54 year old Kenneth Berry of Carmichael, California and 51 year old Mario Morgan of Turlock, California were taken to the hospital for undisclosed injuries.

District-Seven Trooper Jason Wilson tells WGIL the wreck is still under investigation.

"Due to the injuries of the driver the investigating offers didn't have a chance to speak with him before he was transported from the scene so they're hoping to get a hold of him today to actually find out what happen to cause this crash."

According to Wilson, the scene had been nearly cleaned-up as of Friday morning.

Wilson says investigators still need to measure what initially caused the vehicle to lose control.

No other parties were injured in the crash.
