|Veterans Day may be next Monday, but Galesburg is honoring all those who have served with the 13th annual Veterans Day parade this Sunday.
This year's parade, however, will be slightly different than years past. Parade Coordinator Ryan Hummel says the Parade will follow the same route, but they'll be lining up at Main and Sumner due to construction and detours.
Hummel also tells the WGIL Morning News the parade will end a little differently this year.
"Due to some staffing and stuff, we won't have the court house end of the parade this year with the speech at the end like we have done in years past," says Hummel.
This year's Grand Marshals will be the Vietnam Veterans.
Hummel says there will be one person in particular riding in the convertible representing all the Vietnam Vets.
Rain or shine the parade will step off at 2 pm Sunday.
