|Ilah Mae Reffett, 90, of 206 Indiana Ave., East Galesburg, Ill. died at 8:20 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 in Seminary Manor, Galesburg.
Ilah was born April 19, 1922 in Henderson, Ill., the daughter of Albert and Olive Lorena Ryner Johnson. She married Norman Ray Reffett on January 11, 1941 in Ames, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1998.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Eugene Reffett of East Galesburg, Ill.; a daughter, Kathleen (and Larry) Legg of East Galesburg, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Terry Ray Reffett; her daughter, Nancy Jo Kilby; four brothers and a sister.
Ilah lived in Galesburg and East Galesburg all her life. She attended Galesburg High School, graduating in 1939. She was employed at Bunker Links Golf Shop, A & P Grocery and spent most of her time as a homemaker. She was a member of the former United Brethren Church of Henderson, Ill.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 in the Gerlaw Cemetery with Rev. Milton Marquith officiating. There will be a private visitation for the family.
