|Linda Ann Lane, age 49 of Victoria, Illinois died on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, Illinois.
She was born on October 8, 1963 in Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of Dean T. and Vilma Ward Johnson. She attended and graduated from R.O.V.A. High School and then attended and graduated with an Associates Degree in Visual Arts & Graphics from Parkland Community College. She married Steven A. Lane on August 20, 1994 in Victoria, Illinois. He survives of Victoria, Illinois.
Surviving are three sons: Dean William Lane, John Thorsell Lane and Sylas Alan Lane, all living at home in Victoria, Illinois. Also surviving are three sisters: Gail (David) Johnson of Victoria; Illinois, Deana (Mike) Johnson of Decatur, Alabama, and Nina (Chuck) Sabey of Manteno, Illinois. One brother survives: William (Tami) Johnson of Galesburg, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews survive. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She worked at the Carl Clinic in Champaign, Illinois and Medforms in Peoria, Illinois. She also worked in advertising for three years at Dick Blick. She enjoyed photography, painting and artwork. She was active in and a member of the Oaks Community Church in rural Dahinda, Illinois where she prepared artwork, even designing the logo for her church. She was also a member of the Little John Club.
Cremation Rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oaks Community Church in rural Dahinda, Illinois with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Marty Briney will officiate. Inurnment will be at the Victoria Cemetery, Victoria, Illinois at a later date. Memorials may be made to Oaks Community Church or to the family.
