The Galesburg boys basketball team looks to sweep the Rock Island Rocks in Western Big 6 play tonight. The Silver Streaks edged the Rocks 53-52 on December 14th, and a win tonight would put them in sole possession of second place in the conference. Galesburg and Rock Island are currently tied with 5-2 records in the league, one game behind Quincy. We'll have the broadcast with Brad Bennewitz and Jim Lee beginning at 7:10 here on WGIL.

United at Mercer County
Havana at Abingdon

Last night, the Knoxville Blue Bullets girls took the championship of the Kewanee Regional, defeating Peoria Christian 44-32. Abingdon lost it's Regional final to Lewistown 49-26.

Also last night, the Galesburg Silver Streak girls defeated Rock Island Alleman in the their final regular season game, 62-58. The Streaks outscored the Pioneers 11-2 in the final three minutes to take the win, with Jessica Leiber leading the way with 32 points.

Next up for the Galesburg girls is their first game at the Dunlap Regional on Tuesday. They will meet either Geneseo or Chillicothe IVC.
