HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL
The Galesburg High School Girls Basketball team traveled a long way Saturday, but couldn't pull out the victory, losing to Maine South 55-45. The Sophomore Girls, however, defeated Maine South 48-43, led by Madison Ross's 12 points.

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BOWLING
Galesburg High School placed 9th at the United Township Panther Invitational Saturday. Moline won the championship of the tournament. The host Panthers placed 6th. Colleen Wiechmann again led the Streaks, bowling a 1040 series, followed by Ashton Lucero's 998. The Galesburg J-V Squad placed 11th out of 11 teams.
