There's an ambitious schedule of girls high school basketball games around the area tonight. One of those finds Lewistown traveling to Abingdon to play the Commandos, where athletic director Joe Nichols says there will be no sophomore game tonight. As a result, the starting time of the varsity game has been moved up to 6pm. Elsewhere in varsity action:

Ridgewood at ROWVA
Farmington at Knoxville
Quincy at Monmouth-Roseville
United at Annawan
Galva/Williamsfield at Princeville
North Fulton at Brimfield

The Galesburg High School Freshmen basketball teams will both play tonight. The girls are at home to United Township in a six o'clock start, while the boys travel to East Moline, also at six.

The Silver Streaks varsity girls have a few days to practice ahead of a big early-season matchup on Thursday with Western Big 6 Conference favorite Rock Island. The Streaks are 7-1 following Saturday's win over Dunlap.

The Streak's boys are 4-3, and will play their third straight road game on Friday when they travel to Quincy.
