Norma Brooks, age 92, of New Windsor, IL, died Saturday A pril 18, 2015 at the Aledo Health and Rehab Center in Aledo, IL. Cremation has been accorded and memorial services are 2:00 PM Saturday May 9, 2015 at the New Windsor Presbyterian Church. Private Burial is in the New Windsor Cemetery. There is no visitation. Memorials may be left to the New Windsor Presbyterian Church or the Tri-County Ambulance Service. Norma was born December 2, 1922 in Gerlaw, Illinois to Frank and Elizabeth Danielson Scott. She graduated from New Windsor High School in 1940. On August 31, 1940 she was united in marriage to Ernest M. Brooks Jr. in Davenport, Iowa. He died in 1987.

She was a homemaker and very active on the family farm and in the New Windsor Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, cooking and being with family.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Bonnie (Donald) Wadhams of New Windsor, IL, Ann Witt of East Moline, IL, Joan (David) Seaton of Prophetstown, IL, 4 sons, David (Ann) Brooks of The Villages, FL, Steven (Terry) Brooks of New Windsor, IL, Roger Brooks of Andover, IL, Robert Brooks of Tucson, AZ, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Clara (Larry) McCreight of Aledo, IL, Betty Needham of Santee, CA, 1 brother Laverne Scott of Winter Haven, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, 2 infant children, 2 sisters, Lola and Mary Jane and 2 brothers Frank Jr. and Jack and a daughter-in-law, Connie J. Brooks preceded her in death
