
He was born November 11, 1932 in Dunfermline, IL to Samuel and Mary Cebuhar Petrovich. He graduated from AlWood High School in 1950. On July 15, 1950, he was united in marriage to Delores J. Elgstrand in Galesburg, IL. She died September 15, 2008.
Tony owned and operated Tony’s Plumbing and Heating in Alpha since 1957.
He was a member and former trustee of St. John’s Catholic Church in Woodhull and the Hook and Bullet Conservation Club.
Tony enjoyed working, fishing and being with his family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Paule and Kevin Anderson of Ophiem, IL; Vicky and Mark Johnson of New Windsor, IL; 4 grandchildren and their families, Hilary Anderson and her two children, Otto and Ada of Ophiem, IL; Ella Johnson and Gerry Noce of Toronto Ontario, Canada; Nathan Anderson and Lacey Rosenberry of Ophiem; Ari and Matt Anderson and their son, River Anthony of Clinton, Iowa; two loving sisters, Margaret Wood of Bettendorf, Iowa; Mary Leist of Mesa, AZ; several nieces and nephews and fishing buddies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Sam and half-brothers, Phillip, John and Andy Sikardi.
