PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Bradley University in Illinois will begin offering advanced nursing courses online this summer.
The Peoria school is accepting applications for five online nursing programs. They include a Master of Science in Nursing Administration and a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner. Two doctoral-level degrees will be offered, Nursing Practice: Family Nurse Practitioner and Leadership.
The fifth choice will be a Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate.
Classes begin Aug. 24.
The U.S. Labor Department reports that the “occupational outlook” for nurses is positive and that there are significant opportunities for salary increase and career advancement with a master’s degree.
Bradley’s nursing program, begun in 1956, maintain accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
