Rosalie M. Enstrom, 87, of rural Viola, IL, died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at home. Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Calvary Lutheran Church in New Windsor. Burial is in the New Windsor Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home in Alpha. She was born April 28, 1928 in New Windsor, IL to Richard F.E. and Ruth Marie Peterson. She graduated from Orion High School. On February 23, 1947, she married Donald F. Enstrom in Ophiem, IL. He died July 24, 2002.

Rosalie was a homemaker and assisted her husband in the operation of the family farm. She was a member of the Clara Lodge #118 Independent Order of the Vikings in Moline, Calvary Lutheran Church, WELCA and the Fern Mar Society.

She enjoyed playing cards, embroidery, cooking, gardening and especially spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include one daughter: Judy (Benne) Goben of Viola, IL; one son: Roger (Alanna) Enstrom of Rock Island, IL; 4 grandchildren: Brian, Diana, Jenna and Tylor; 7 great grandchildren, one lovingly expected; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, one sister and one brother.
