Warren County Authorities Apprehend Wanted Man, Investigation Ongoing

The Monmouth Police Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Illinois State Police have arrested a man who was wanted in relation to an unreleased incident that occurred in Monmouth early this morning.Stephen Nicholas Gonzalez was apprehended Northwest of Monmouth in Warren County.

An investigation is on-going at this time.

No additional information regarding the morning incident or as to why Gonzalez was arrested has currently been released.

The Sheriff’s Office has indicated they will release more details in the near future.
