Upon investigation, child pornography was found, which led to the 1 count of aggravated child pornography on top of the 5 counts of predatory criminal sexual assault. Jenkins allegedly had sexual intercourse with the 13 year-old girl this past May.
All six charges are considered Class X felonies, which holds a maximum sentence of 30 years with no chance for probation. Jenkins could face up to 60 years in prison, as well as a $25,000 fine for each count.
Jenkins appeared with his East Moline Attorney, Daniel Dalton. Jenkins is currently being held at the Knox County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 3rd at 2 p.m. at the Knox County Courthouse.
