Richard Likes, 98, of Roseville, IL passed away at 2:30 AM Monday August 10, 2015 at the Roseville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. He was born December 31, 1916 in Good Hope, IL to Albert A. and Elsie M. (Callison) Likes. He married Helen L. Graham on April 26, 1940 in Palmyra, MO. She preceded him in death on February 3, 2011.
He is survived by three children, Rick Likes of Roseville, IL; Carol (Kendall) Heaton of Temple, TX; Mary Lou Pinney of Roseville, IL; Linda (Jack) Ide of Belton, TX; five grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren and several step great great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Walter Likes and one sister, Hazel Utterback.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and trap shooting. He won several trap shooting competitions thorough the years. Richard had a love for cats and dogs.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday August 13, 2015 at the Point Pleasant Cemetery. There will be calling hours on Wednesday August 12, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Corman Memorial Home Roseville. Reverend Dennis Power will officiate.
