Millions Expected To Attend Chicago’s Air and Water Show

CHICAGO (AP) –Millions of spectators are expected to pack Chicago’s lakefront for the city’s annual Air and Water Show.
The free event is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

It takes place along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street beginning at 10 a.m. North Avenue Beach is the show’s center.
Among the headliners are the U. S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights.

The Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications is reminding residents, motorists and people attending the show to plan for big crowds, heavy traffic and warm, humid weather. The Chicago Transit Authority and Metra are providing additional service for the event.

Organizers say they expect more than 2 million people to attend the two-day event.
