Kylie Jean Allen, 15, of Galesburg, Ill. died 7:25 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Galesburg.
She was born July 22, 2000 in Galesburg to Rick Allen and Michelle Genevieva Epperson.
Surviving are her parents, Michelle and Paul Brechbuhler of Galesburg, and Rick and Danielle Allen of Abingdon, her grandparents, Nancy Epperson of Galesburg and Karen and Dennis Kistler of Galesburg, four brothers, Eric Epperson, of Galesburg Wyatt Brechbuhler of Galesburg, Cody Brechbuhler of Abingdon and Cody McIntyre of Galesburg, seven sisters, Iris Elizabeth Brechbuhler of Galesburg, Jenna Brechbuhler, Hannah Lawson, Dallas Brechbuhler, Rebekah Brechbuhler, Josephine Brechbuhler and Lorelei Yarde all of the state of Washington, her aunts and uncles, Rian Epperson of Galesburg, Kelly and Daniel Wallace of Missouri, Ken Brechbuhler of Missouri, Julie and James Maxwell of Missouri, Brian Clark of Galesburg, Heather (and Dan) Fox of Homewood, Ill., Ron John of Minn., Jerry Sorenson of Minn., Carrie Waller of Lincoln, Ill., Tammy Quinn of Missouri, David Haneghan of Galesburg Joe Haneghan of Galesburg and Amanda Epperson of New York.
Kylie was a sophomore at Galesburg High School where she was a member of the Color Guard and the Acapella Choir. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Galesburg. She was active in the First Methodist Youth Group, Bell Choir, Youth Choir and “The Rock” after school program.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Galesburg. Rev. Glen Bocox, Rev. Sarah Wanck and Rev. Stephen Descalzo will officiate. Visitation will be 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The family will be present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg.
