Two Galesburg residents were arrested late last night, after a dispute led to a physical altercation at an area bar.
Police were called to the 400 block of East Berrien Street at 11:41 p.m., after it was reported that threats were made to patrons.
When authorities arrived, 23-year-old Brittney J. Thomas and 51-year-old Daniel Lee Thomas were arguing, following an alleged physical dispute between the two that left both bleeding from their faces.
Witness reports given to Police indicate that throughout the course of the dispute, Brittney threw a pool ball, while Daniel head-butted Brittney, leading to the wounds.
Upon Police arrival, Brittney fled the scene, was later captured and resisted arrest. Both were arrested and did not comply, refusing to offer a written statement or required photos.
The two have been charged with domestic battery. Brittney is additionally charged with resisting arrest and obstruction of an officer.
Both remain in the Knox County Jail at this time.
