Illinois State Police have confirmed that a Wataga woman has been killed in single vehicle crash.
18-year-old Sally J. Christianson is the deceased. Authorities responded to 255th Avenue in Warren County about a quarter mile west of 180th street around 9 a.m. this morning.
Christianson reportedly lost control of her 2002 Ford Escort on a gravel road, when it rolled and she was ejected from the vehicle. Christianson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Authorities believe the accident took place sometime between the late evening hours last night and the early morning hours today.
Illinois State Police were assisted at the scene by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Alexis Fire and EMS departments.
