Hoffman scores in OT to lift Senators past Blackhawks, 4-3

BlackhawksOTTAWA, Ontario (AP) — Mike Hoffman scored his second goal of the game 30 seconds into overtime to give the Ottawa Senators a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night.Bobby Ryan and Mark Stone also scored for the Senators, and Craig Anderson  making his ninth straight start stopped 35 shots.

Patrick Kane and Artemi Panarin each had a goal and two assists for Chicago, and Artem Anisimov had a goal and an assist. Corey Crawford made 23 saves.

Kane tied Bobby Hull’s franchise record 21-game point streak, set in 1971-72.
