Linda K. Hunter, age 70 of Knoxville, Illinois died at 5:20 A.M. on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, Galesburg, Illinois.
She was born on November 27, 1945 Holdrege, Nebraska the daughter of Joseph and Florence Holmes Spellman. She married Gary L. Hunter on March 22, 1986 in Galesburg, Illinois.
Surviving is her husband, Gary L. Hunter of Knoxville, Illinois; one daughter, Kerstin (Sammy) Coombs of Knoxville, Illinois; one son, John “Bill” Henning of Abingdon, Illinois; two grandchildren, Brittney (Jeff) Allen of Knoxville, Illinois and Colton Coombs of Gilson, Illinois; two great grandchildren, Ella and Jett Allen; and her beloved dog, Katy Scarlett O’Hunter. She was preceded in death by her Parents, one sister, Joan Moorehouse and one brother, Larry Spellman.
She worked as an Insurance Clerk for Galesburg Cottage Hospital over 30 years retiring in 2010.
She loved to shop and was very dedicated.
