
A Knoxville woman has been charged with possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop early yesterday morning.
Galesburg Police arrested 55-year-old Pamela Sue Lytle of Knoxville shortly after 12:19 a.m. yesterday.
According to police reports, Lytle failed to use a turn signal and was pulled over on the corner of East South Street and Allens Ave.
Following a K-9 unit alerting, Lytle was searched where police found what was field tested as 3.4 grams of crack cocaine on her person.
A number of plastic baggies believed to be used with possession were found as well.
34-year-old Cassie Latrice Joyce Casey of Galesburg was the only passenger in Lytle’s vehicle. Police arrested Casey on prior warrants for charges ranging from mob action to aggravated battery.
Since the arrest, Casey posted bond which was set at $1,500. Lytle is currently being held in the Knox County Jail.
