A couple of outstanding matchups are in the works today for area baseball and softball teams. In baseball, the A-Town Tornadoes will play host to the Ridgewood Spartans, and in softball, North Fulton is at home to the United Red Storm. Also on the softball schedule, a makeup game is being played at Galesburg High School where the Silver Streaks are set to host West Central. The GHS girls track team has cancelled their invitational that had been rescheduled for Tuesday. The event was originally set for last Friday, but was called off due to cold and windy conditions. Few of the teams that were invited could make tomorrow’s date, so instead the GHS girls will run at Sherrard for a dual meet at 4pm.
