Janet Lea Henry Melvin, 69, of Denver, Colorado, Formerly of Monmouth and Roseville, IL, passed away on April 12, 2016.
She was born on June 6, 1946 in Monmouth, IL. A celebration of life was held in Denver, CO on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 4 PM at Athenian Restaurant, Aurora, CO. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10 AM at Roseville Christian Church, 215 W. Broadway St, Roseville, IL 61473.
There will be a celebration of life following at American Legion in Monmouth at approximately 1:30 PM. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, George Roy and Evelyn Myra Henry, a nephew and grandchild. She is survived by her husband, John Melvin; sons, Doug, of Denver, David, of Cameron; daughters, Angie, Jennifer and Jonna, all of Denver; sisters, Joyce (Gene) Vestal-Galesburg and Jean (Lyle) Pierce, of Monmouth; and several grandchildren.
