Patricia A. Powers, 70, of Knoxville, died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016 at home in Knoxville.
She was born July 11, 1946, in Galesburg, the daughter of Steward L. and Norma Louise (McCune) Arnold.
She is survived by two sons, Rod (and Amy) Powers of Knoxville and Randy Powers of Arlington, Texas; a daughter, Robin (and Mike) Slagel of Abingdon; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Lynn (and Ralph) McLaughlin of Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steward Michael Arnold.
Pat worked for Maytag Corporation for 30 years until their closure. She then worked as a crossing guard at King School for 10 years. She was raised and educated in Galesburg, graduating from Galesburg High School. Pat enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2016 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel with Pastor Mark Dexter officiating.
