CHICAGO (AP) — A judge in Chicago ordered a man held on $500,000 bail who is accused of robbing a 74-year-old woman’s mobile home before binding her mouth with a sock and driving off in her car.
Forty-four-year old Dandre Mabone is charged with armed robbery and home invasion after he allegedly broke into the woman’s home near the community of Justice southwest of Chicago shortly before 5 a.m. on July 14. After the robbery the woman was able to free herself and call 911.
The vehicle was located a short distance away. Mabone was arrested the next day outside his home in incorporated Justice.
