Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a Rio man on sex charges for allegedly having sexual contact with a child under the age of 13.
Seventy-nine-year-old Clifford L. Franks was arrested on a warrant this morning.
Franks faces predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges.
Bond has been set at $200,000 and Franks is being held in the Knox County Jail at this time.
Information regarding the incident itself has yet to be released.
