Two vehicles in two separate incidents were reported stolen this week.
Galesburg police arrested a Chicago man yesterday for riding a motorcycle that had been reported stolen.
Twenty-year-old Demetri Collins was charged with possessing a stolen motorcycle and other smaller citations. Police apprehended him in 700 block of Ella Street.
Collins was cooperative and told police the motorcycle belonged to a friend, but authorities were not able to locate the man.
In an unrelated report, Galesburg Nissan staff reported a car stolen. A Sioux City, Iowa woman and man from the same location took a rental car September 1 that was due back shortly after the date. The duo are believed to have left the state and the car has not been returned.
Multiple calls from the dealership and police have gone unanswered as well.
