A Volunteer Drive clothing store is out just under $3,000 after an alleged burglary, Sunday.
Galesburg police found a brick, a shattered glass door and a near empty safe when they arrived at the Rue 21 clothing store just after 2 a.m., yesterday.
The safe did not have damage and it appeared to have been opened with a combination. A manager of store said only five people had access to the combination.
Video surveillance from a nearby business showed an individual enter the front of Rue 21 and minutes later exit from the rear.
The footage was not clear enough to provide in-depth detail of the suspect.
