
Carol Jean Cinnamon, 88, passed away peacefully, Saturday afternoon, December 31st, 2016 in Galesburg, Illinois.Carol was born May 4th, 1928 in West Jersey, Illinois, the daughter of Helen and Fred Keefer. She attended Toulon-Lafayette schools and was married to Jim Cinnamon for 30 years. They had three children.
Through the years, Carol worked for Boss Manufacturing, Princeville Canning Company and in caring for the elderly. She loved dancing, country music, Big Band music, and watching television, especially Lawrence Welk, ice skating, and Indy and NASCAR races.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Arlene Rosander.
Carol is survived by her twin brother, Darol Keefer, of Panama City, Florida, daughter, Janet Davis and husband, Charles of Arlington, Texas, sons, Jim Cinnamon and wife Cheryl, of Knoxville, Illinois, Bill Cinnamon, and wife Sherry of Kewanee, Illinois. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Tamera Davis of Mesa, Arizona, Brynn (Rob) Everett, of Peoria, Illinois, Bill (Brea) Cinnamon, Blake Cinnamon and Madison Cinnamon, of Kewanee, two great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
