LAKE IN THE HILLS, Ill. (AP) — Authorities say three people have been found dead in a townhouse in a suburb northwest of Chicago.Police didn’t immediately release details of the circumstances of the deaths, which were discovered Tuesday in Lake in the Hills, but they said there was no known threat to public safety.
Officers had been called to the home in the McHenry County community to investigate a report of an unresponsive person. They couldn’t get inside, so firefighters broke into the townhouse.
Names and ages of the dead also weren’t immediately released. The investigation is ongoing and additional information was expected to be released Wednesday.
