A little tighter than the Silver Streaks wanted it to be coming down to the end as Galesburg takes a win against Dunlap, 65-57.
The 3rd quarter for Dunlap really got them back into the game as the Streaks gave up 43 points in the second half.
With the win today, the Silver Streaks are now 2-0 in the Martin Luther King tournament after their win over Rockford-East last week and with try to move to 3-0 against a really good Maine-South team, coached by Tony Laberado.
Today’s Dave’s Autobody Crunchtime Player of the Game was TJ Pendleton who had a career high of 24 points. Jacob Carl also had a career high of 12 points and combined with TJ for 14 rebounds. Cornell Dotson, Jacob Ross and Mark Harden each had 8 points and DeAndre Moren finished with 5 points.
Streaks boys have another game tonight with a 7:40 pregame and an 8:00 tipoff. Brad and Jim will bring you live play-by-play coverage of that game on WGIL and wgil.com
