The Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development elected their new board of directors at their annual meeting on Jan. 12. The leaders were chosen on the same day the county’s public-private economic development arm heard from the head of Illinois’ development organization, Jim Schultz.
Adam Vitale will have a two-year term as Chairman. Vitale is President of G&M Distributors. Dr. Lori Sundberg, President of Carl Sandburg will serve along side Vitale as Vice-Chairman. Both Sundberg and Vitale have been members of the partnership since it began about 2 years ago. Doug Sanders will be treasurer, a role fitting of the President and CEO of F&M Bank.
Pam Davidson will now sit on the partnership board, as the current Knox County Board Chair is welcomed to do.
