Postseason awards were handed out recently for the Galesburg High School boys varsity basketball team. To no one’s surprise, senior post player T.J. Pendleton was named the team’s most valuable player. Pendleton averaged double figures in both points and rebounds for a Streaks team that finished the season with a record of 15-17. The best defensive player award went to senior DeAndre Moren, while the Silver Streak award was presented to senior Mark Harden, Jr.
