Blessings In A Backpack is helping low income children suffering from hunger throughout the country. Locally, nearly 70% percent of District 205 students are on the lunch program. Many of those students are receiving help from Blessings In A Backpack. Knox College professor and former District 205 administrator Joel Estes and some Knox College student volunteers with the program joined Tom Meredith and Jim Lee on “Galesburg’s Morning News”.
