CHICAGO (AP) — Authorities say two people have been found fatally shot along the Chicago Skyway, prompting the roadway to be closed heading toward Indiana.
Chicago Fire Department Commander Walter Schroeder says crews responded about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday and found two people dead along eastbound Interstate 90 near 88th Street. Details of what led to the deaths weren’t immediately available.
The Illinois Department of Transportation says the eastbound lanes were closed east of the Dan Ryan Expressway. Police and transportation vehicles blocked entrance ramps.
