Rodney L. “Rod” McGraw, age 44, of Knoxville, Illinois died at 4:55 P.M. on Friday, July 21, 2017 at OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois.
He was born on August 8, 1972 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois the son of Danny and Delores “Dee” Tucker McGraw, Sr. He attended and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1991.
Surviving is his mother: Dee McGraw of Knoxville, Illinois; his siblings: Vickie (Craig) Lynch of Galesburg, Illinois, Danny (Bethany) McGraw of Knoxville, Illinois, and Travis Petty of Kentucky; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
He worked for Farmland in Monmouth, Illinois for several years.
He enjoyed playing video games and collecting dragons and swords.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Hurd-Hendricks Fellowship Center in Knoxville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences or expressions of sympathy can be made through www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com.
