
Galesburg High school took first at the Wethersfield Invitational yesterday.
The Silver Sreaks had three top ten finishes and finished with a team score of 42, with Mid-County second at 82.
Ridgewood would finish third with a 108, and Knoxville fourth with 125.
VOLLEYBALL
Monmouth-Roseville defeated Abingdon-Avon yesterday 25-11, 25-19. It was A-Town’s first loss on the year.
GIRLS GOLF
The Knoxville girls finished third in a triangular with Rockridge and Alleman yesterday. The rockets won with a 206, Pioneers shot a 232, and the Blue Bullets a 233. Kaylyn Stearns led Knoxville with a 55. Mattie Reuther was the top individual with a 46.
TENNIS
Tough day for the Galesburg High School girls tennis team as they were swept in all 5 matches to Sterling. The JV team was swept 5-0 as well.
