Silver Streaks boys golf team defeats Maroons

The Silver Streaks boys golf team defeated Moline yesterday at Bunker Links. 

GHS shot 164 while the Maroons combined for 175.

Lucas Watson led the Streaks with a 37 and earned medalist honors while Justin Endthoff shot a 40, Owen Hawkins a 41 and Luke Bradburn a 46.

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan’s beat the Mercer County Golden Eagles in Aledo yesterday 163-174.

Monmouth-Roseville’s Nick Corman earned medalist honors with a 36 while Lane Frieden shot a 38.

Andrew Fiser and Conner Reid led the Golden Eagles scorers. Fiser shot a 43 while Reid carded a 41.

Ridgewood defeated Princeville 168-254. Ridgewood’s Levi Swanson earned medalist honors when he carded a 36.

 

GIRLS GOLF
The Silver Streak ladies swept a triangular with Geneseo and Erie yesterday.

GHS shot a 178, the Maple Leafs a 181, and the Cardinals a 196.

Maitlyn Sanders carded a 39 to earn medalist honors while Kirsten Osborn had a 41.

Rylee Chockely shot a 43 and Becca Watson a 54.

 

GIRLS TENNIS
Newman Central Catholic swept the Silver Streak girls last night 5-0.

 

VOLLEYBALL
Ridgewood defeated West Central in three sets: 26-24, 22-25, 25-22.

 

BOYS SOCCER
The Monmouth-Roseville Titans beat the Kewanee Boilermakers 3-1
